Pollution at Mecca Mall
Published by shaden November 30th, 2007 in JP BlogNope this is not the title of an art exhibition held at Mecca Mall!
I’ve recently “discovered” this “piece of art” on one of the walls in Mecca Mall and I was utterly shocked. Just how could this happen at the mall? where were everyone when the wall was being vandalized with graffiti? and by everyone I’m not talking about the mall security only, but mall visitors as well. It’s such a shame that some can’t behave responsibly towards public utilities. Shopping malls are in my opinion one of the first and most common indicative signs of a modern and civilized society, so now that we have them, we might as well act like one.

you are in Jordan, get used to it.
Jordanian graffiti
You must visit Qusair Amra (one of the old dessert castles), then your hair will fall out. Such a historic monument with names scribbles all over the wonderful old wall and roof paintings:)
if it was pretty graffiti i wouldnt really mind, but this?

Qabbani, I can’t remember, I have to look for it next time when I’m there.
Moey, I seriously hope that I don’t! no one should get used to this.
Ohoud, that’s just sad!
Saylem, yea it’s not even pretty. It would be interesting if fadil turned out a 25 guy.

I agree with Saylem, if they hired some artists, and had them express themselves using wall graffiti, it would be wonderful. I’ve seen wall graffiti that look like murals drawn by Michelangelo, but this is just painful to look at.
